The Germans have developed a two-person tent that can be stowed in a rigid suitcase. This wrap, in turn, perfectly fits the roof bars of the Porsche 911, Macan, Cayenne, Panamera and Taycan – in other words, the entire range except 718 Boxster and Cayman. The tent measures 2.10 m by 1.30 m and is equipped with a high-quality hard foam mattress (polyfoam) and the necessary insulation. Despite two windows in the side and one in the roof, the tent is also water and insect repellent.

Porsche is asking €4,980 for this roof tent, and mentions that it limits the top speed of your car: the Germans recommend not to exceed 130 km/h once it is installed on the roof. Remarkable detail: the roof tent was developed in Weissach, where Porsche develops monsters like the 911 GT3 and GT3 RS. These Germans are definitely jacks of all trades…
