Ford has previewed some of the off-road accessories that will be offered with the latest-generation Ranger.

Images of the accessories were first shared on Ford Australia’s website and are divided into three distinct areas. The first array of parts are focused on improving the pickup’s off-road performance and includes parts such as a steel front bumper from ARB, red tow hooks, a front skid plate, a color-matched bull bar, LED spotlights, and a black plastic snorkel.

The Ranger has also been shown with protection tubes around the front wheel arches and has steel rock sliders. Rounding out the modifications is a black sports bar in the bed and a black roof rack.

The second selection of parts is classified as ‘Touring’ upgrades and includes the same steel ARB front bumper but a more subtle matte-black protection bar in front of the grille. We can also see an LED light bar.

Last but not least are a handful of accessories designed to make camping that much more convenient. These include a rooftop tent, an ARB bed canopy, and the same sports bar as the off-road model.

Notably, these images only serve as a preview for some of the accessories that Ford will offer Australian buyers with the new Ranger and as we inch closer towards its market launch, more accessories will probably be announced. It’s inevitable that the aftermarket will also explode with upgrades for the new Ranger.
